AC&I

In my career of leadership, it’s evident to me that certain qualities, characteristics, and skills can be trained; others are more innate. In having a consistent professional record of being able to maintain, retain, train and continue long-lasting meaningful relationships, I can say 3 things stand out most.

1) Authenticity – Are you being real?

2)  Candor – Are you being honest/transparent?

3) Integrity – Are you being consistent?

Seemingly simple I know, yet not really. When we look just beneath the surface. These three qualities in any leadership setting can often shape a working environment. We are all just humans at the core and often we will miss some details of our experiences. What I have found however, is that we will never forget how a person makes us feel. It’s how we base our associations and connections off of. “They were so kind, I like them” or “They were always there when I needed them, I can trust them;” even, “They didn’t know but were willing to help me figure it out, I can come to them.”  Any of this sound familiar? Whether an inner monologue or greatest wish, these are some common things we hope to either convey or hear. In my approach, I pair my philosophy in each of these qualities with a person-centered lens to make you the strongest leader I know you can be.

Each Factor:

AUTHENTICITY

Be 100% you. Whether it’s a staff member, supervisor or client, it is always apparent when you are not being real. This is a part of my approach because I believe every single professional has a way of putting the best parts of themselves into the work they do. This doesn’t just make for a great leader or professional but also for yourself. Knnowing you are not compromising yourself allows you to be more open to change, processes and perspectives that previously may have felt intimidating.

CANDOR

As my service name would suggest, candor calls on us in some of the best and challenging ways. Honesty is often the best policy, especially if you are in a field where others rely on you. Ultimately - staff, colleagues, and clients will appreciate your candor and transparency more often than not. Does this mean you give people the cut and dry - no. What it does mean however, is that you become more intentional with how you are communicating to others in an honest yet meaningful way. You will find that both your environment and your inner conscious feel lighter.

INTEGRITY

If I don’t practice what I preach I wouldn’t make for a good consult. Each client is an entire experience, from start to finish. This experience is about pushing yourself in new ways and allowing yourself the grace learn and stumble along the way. As slated above, you will have my full 100% presence and we will find the plan that works best for you.
